Who Will these programs benefit?
The MusicMakers Workshop is primarily focused on providing musicians core business and marketing strategies to help them to successfully market and leverage their art. These musicians have studied in school and have perfected their skills but were not given the basic tools to go into business for themselves.
Music is My First Language‘s core program will focus on helping disadvantaged children (roughly between the ages of 9 and 17) to reach their full musical potential, with all of the associated academic and social benefits music learning facilitates. Elements of the program materials and community will be available to anyone who wants to find their song.
